Hi i'm on my friends pc and i can't log into my WildThing name, i have been away for 5 days and it was working when i left and now i can't log on, why is that?

no Email was sent, CaTaLyST or saps is no help i try to fix this problem and all that CaTaLyST says is what i said i try to explain and it seems like the guy doesn't even read it. i think we need new admins. all i know that i was banned for swearing at someone? lol what i said was "my pc does the F***in job" lol, i guess thats worst then other people posting links to porn sites i guess eh?

Let this be a lesson to pretty much everyone in this forum, unlike spoken words, here...what you say counts. NO one can tell when you are kidding or joking or didnt really mean it, text has no tone or body language; you will be judged on your words and how you use them.

I count myself lucky that the Mods and the Admin have let me slide when I do type vulgar words. The AUP is rather amusing, its a legally binding contract just as much as a Prenuptual Agreement or an Enlistment contract, just be grateful that _______ (sorry I dont know the name of the parent company involved here) doesnt have the time or the concern to sue everyone that gets banned for breach of contract.

Oh yeah and

is lible (sp?) and you can be taken to court for that.

at this point it's gotten to where people are banned for the stupidest reasons, like:

Wildthing e-mailed me a few times, and I replied to all of them. Nevertheless, that is besides the point. Whoever was banned, was contacted, as I had a conversation (via email) with that person.

If you break the rules, and continue to break them, you're going to get banned. Thats why we issue a warning. Unless you do something horrible, you will always get a chance to change your ways.

Trust me, banning people is not my favorite part of the day. I hate having to limit our site from another person, because that person could have been a positive part of our site, had they not broken the rules. With every user we ban, we limit ourselves by closing off the forums to one more mind.

It all comes down to having to weigh the advantages and disadvantages. Do we want someone posting links to dirty pictures, and making profane comments? Seeing as some of our users are minors, or browsing from work, I'd have to say no. I cant imagine many bosses would be happy to walk in on a worker who opens up an SE window only to view profane comments/images.
