    ha!

    funny. i like that. ahh, i went with pop up stopper companion and it is running ok. i also ran ad aware and found 176 items on my system. dammmnnn. anyway, thanks all for the suggestins!

    There is a free version and a shareware version of pop-up stopper... you can get the free version from their products page I believe.

    I use and it seems to do the job for me. ZeroPopup

    coupled with my Ad-aware I surf ad free.
