tired of searching. does this product exist?

I am looking for a bay mounted intake fan(s) apparatus with thermostat integrated into it. Everything I find on the web that even comes close to this are hard drive coolers. But these gadgets have wimpy fans on them and the hard drives themselves block the airflow. And the ones with more fans (3), don't have thermostats on them. I don't wanna drill holes in my case to get a case fan mounted in my box. Any ideas? thanks

What case brand and model? Normally adding an exhaust case fan works out better.

Well i know that there are overhead HD collers, which are like long plate with 2-3 fans on it, and it mounts on top of the HD. Its like .5" thick, but i dunno how good it is.... so yeah...

The closest thing that I can think of to what you are describing is the Digi Doc 5.

If memory serves it does thermos fan control and even has a 40mm fan built in to add a dozen or so CFM worth of intake air flow. If you are interested in info on this device, I would visit the cases and cooling forum

Here is a link to Cooler guys they are one of many online CPU cooling speciality stores. This particular link takes you to a selection of their bay bus style device.

But i would highly recommend that you have this post moved to cases/cooling.
