    Need help with old computer

I am trying to do something with my parents old K-6 200. The mobo is a Tekram P5T30B4 (which supports both Intel Celerons and Amd k-6s and Cyrixs) I have a MII 300 MHz Cyrix that I would like to put in it, and did, but now it isn't working quite right. I tried messing with the jumper settings, but the website wasn't helpful for that high of a processor. Does anyone here know enough about this mobo to tell me if I am wasting my time and should just put the 200 back in, or is there a way I can get this 300 to work (it is much, much faster)I want to fix this computer up, so he can learn about computers on it (he is abit slow) so any help you guys can give is much appreciated. The link for the mobo is here
Some day, that fateful finger from above will point down, and it will be pointing at me.

    Voltages, clock speed, multiplier

I think that processor uses a 75Mhz clock speed. k6 used a 66 Mhz clock. The MII -300 used a 3 multiplier making it 225 Mhz. The processor isn't 300 Mhz its a PR rating. Core voltage is 2.9 And I/O is 3.3 V.

    Go Boilers!!
