    Post Dvd-Rom/Floppy Help please

Ok I took out my dvd rom and floppy drive from my computer to test in another computer. Put them back in this computer, and now at the bootup I get a floppy drive error message so I have to hit escape to finish booting up. When I go to My Computer, the floppy drive shows up (although cant get in) and the dvd drive doesn't show up. Any suggestions?

The floppy drive cable might be inserted backwards, try to switch it around, see if that helps, as for the DVD, make sure there are no jumper conflicts and the cables are inserted firmly.

Sounds like you have a cable plugged in wrong on the floppy drive. Not sure about the DVD drive, though it could be a similar problem. Check your cables.
