    Cool Roxio with XP trouble

I have Roxio's EZ CD Creator 5 Platinum, and I got all the updates to run in XP, but whenever I go to make a Data CD, it takes FOREVER to do ANYTHING, even just select a file to put on a Cd, and when I finnally get a file (or files) picked, then I go to burn, and it says the drive is in use by CDcreator kernel (or something like that) I have a Plextor PXW1610A with winXP.

Having the same kind of issues with Roxio.

I have dl all the updates and upgrades, yet when I try to drag files down to the record section...it leaves all kind of "icon garbage" behind (images of the file moved).

Not sure what is causing this.

First uninstall Roxio form the rove program, clean your registry absolutley completely of everything and then follow Roxio's XP instructions EXACTLY. THE key is
cleaning the registry of every thing associated with your burner. Also unistall and reinstall your burner and make sure it is the master.
