    Question Eazy CD Creator wont work with XP...

    i tried installing Adaptec's Eazy cd creator but when i run the program i m hit with a problem suggesting me to upgrade my version so it becomes compatible with windows XP. my current version if 4.0. i want to know where can i get the upgrade from so that my program'll work with xp. thanx.

    Of course there isn't actually an upgrade. You need to buy Easy CD Creator 5 which is compatible with XP. Or you could just use nero...

    I see several upgrade patches for Easy CD Creator 4.0. One of these will probably solve her problem.

    I checked out that website and did not find any updates for xp compatibility.
    I did see some for win 2000 compliant and IE5.0 or higher but I do not think any of those will work for win Xp.
    As i rember that version of roxio is completly incompatible with xp and new 5.0 is the only version that works.

    i second that.. in fact trying to load adaptec easy cd creator 4.0 in xp will usually result in all the burning functions in the OS being dorked so bad it requires a reload..

    i couldnt gte any update so i purched nero, someone told me its as good as cd creator. so i purchsed nero 5.0 its good but cd creator is more user friendly. well.. it'll do as well
