Hammerhead Shark
Hot sync ing multiple pdas
ok, so i ragged on my brother before for being the computer idiot, now i am. for two ****ing hours, ive been trying to hot sync my dads visor. ok, i have the files all in the folder i want, so i go to palm desktop, create a user called dad, and just rewrite the folder contents that it creates with the backup dad of my dads. however, no matter what i do, it keeps writing my information on his pda. ive tried different profiles also, but no luck. is it just me, or is the pda hot sync software really shitty and crash happy. like when u go into setup, if u click on the 'local' from the general tab, it crashes not only the program, but windows too. eh, whatever. please help me out asap. i need detailed instructions. thanks. btw, i use outlook to backup my files. it keeps telling me to set the outlook to accept multiple pdas on the same profile in the 'view log' but i dont want that either, i want separate profiles separate databases. thanks.

Since you're trying to sync with Outlook, I assume you're using Pocket Mirror. Do you have the latest version (3.1.2)? If not, you can download it from Chapura.
Chapura has a pretty extensive support site here. Entering the search term "sync multiple users" I found this which seems to be the answer to your question.
Good luck!
