    Damn this piece of junk.... CDRW related

    Ok guys, I have this problem from time to time and i keep going to ask you lot but it usually fixes itself before i have a chance.

    But here goes.

    I use Nero Burning Rom (Latest Version)
    and my hardware as sig.
    Windows XP Pro / Win2000 (sometimes)

    My problem is that every so often my computer goes through a period of whereby when i try to write a cd the recorder buffer level jumps sparadically from 99% down to 50% then onto 13% then up to 90% and all over the shop.

    The CD burns alright but at the cost of adding a few extra minutes onto the making.

    I can live with it but i just would like to know how to fix it, as i hate it happening every now and again until i chancge whatever fixes it by accident.

    If its any help the drives are setup on my SCSI like this...

    ID - DEVICE
    ====SCSI-III====
    00 IBM ULTRASTAR - TERMINATED
    ====SCSI-II=====
    01 Mira CDRW
    02 Pioneer DVD - TERMINATED

    A fresh installation has fixed this before (and it did work fine until today again) so im betting its software

    Any help would be much appreciated
