Can i see any difference with 1 GB DDR ?
Hi , i want to buy more Ram , can i see any difference between my actual 512 MB and the new 1 GB ?
I only play games basicaly , no Photoshop or stufff like this .

i doubt youll see much difference at all, probably not enough to warrent the price. if you're really interested, just monitor your ram usage, and see just how high it gets.
When you start to get a lot of ram, you can start playing around with other stuff to, like hughe cashe sizes, windows virtual memory and the like. Its up to you, but i guess my 2 cent bottom line is that it's not worth the price

From all games i hawe IL2 Sturmovik eat the biger amount of RAM (420 MB online) the rest of games eat usualy 250 -300 . I run XP Pro , but i hawe the 512 Mb set with default page file in XP , i wonder if i put 1 GB and i kill after the page file to let work only the Ram , i might get better reasults .

Many programs requre the use of a swap file regardless of how much ram you have. Disabling it will only cause you problems.
