    Finally My Pics

    Here's the bad news:
I borrow this digital camera from my friend and the battery died on me after just a few minutes and he did not lend me the re-charger claiming it was already fully charged. So thankfully I got these at all. Furthermore, I have no pics of the winter mod. I had to disable it to get the inside shots and by then the battery was out. I also since I have to give him back the camera tomorrow it might be a week or two before I have winter mod pics up.

Again these will not be the most impressive you've ever seen as many of you have better cases. Again I'm an OCer first and a case modder second. I mod to enhance my OC's.

Finally most of these are 1024x768 jpeg's which might take a bit of time to load for 56K's. So here they are:
    First three are the exterior:

Some inside and thru the window shots

My rear exhaust fan; a Antec Tri-Lighted

I have a 6x6inch mirror on the bottom of my case and the reflection you see is thus the pci's and underside of my 4200 with the lighted 80mm fan attached

You can see it better here

There's a few others at my website go there and see for yourself

that's extremely nice saps, incredible job I like that fat *** nVidia logo on the side of your case i guess you'll never switch to an ATI huh? that'd probably destroy that mod i like that side panel fan you have on your window...that must really help lower your 1600+'s temps alot very nice job you've done

Yeah I'm an nVidia guy I guess. Also the difference in cpu temps with that 120mm on and off is 15ºF

Yup it is. It is just a plain-jane 32cfm 28dBA dual blue LED fan. But the way I have it placed and angled it does completely cool the underside of my VC. You do notice in the final pic the stock gpu cooler is still there. I merely superglued the 80mm on top of it

In real life the green is not quite as bright IMO as it appears in the pictures. I wanted something that was a bit different at the time I panited the case six months ago. Of course now there are PC's in nearly this color. Also in an AMD and nVidia the green just sort of works. Up until a month ago I had this sucker covered in those free AMD stickers everyone was ordering earlier this year. I believe I had 40-45 of them on the case. However, I removed them for simplicity's sake.

Good idea. I just have my 60mm Y.S. Tech high-speed (40CFM) in my dummy pci fancard cooling the underside of my vc. I'm thinking of adding 2 30CFM 80mm's (UV sensitive) to blow on it from the side, too.

I'm interested in seeing your winter mod though.

The only difference is you'd see a large silver colored pipe sticking out the side hole really but as soon as I can re-borrow the cam I'll grab a couple-o-shots

i like the green. it looks like the same color as in all the pre-modded chieftec server/dragon, etc. cases that are out now. you can tell the flash is just making it look shinier with that kind of still wet look.

what a great idea to just superglue a fan to the VC fan, also. never thought of that. i wonder if the same principle would work on the CPU HSF? just glue a fan on top and get double the cooling?

    Whoa. You're killing my 56k.

Is that giant nVidia logo painted on? It looks great.

And that side fan is only 120mm? It looks HUGE!! And a 15* difference with it off vs. it on? Nice.

And on your "winter mod": I'm more interested in seeing the garage side of the hookup. It seems obvious where the tubing enters your case (the 120mm fan, right?). But, I'm still kind of curious as to how you bring in the air from the garage.

You don't have to leave the door open, do you?
