    Got a free duron....whats the cheapest but most overclockable mobo?

    Hey everyone, i just got a new duron...not sure of the speed, im thinking about 500mhz and i wanna get a really cheap mobo that i can overclock the SHIZNIT outta it...any suggestions...mobo MUST be under $50...but the cheaper the better, thanx

    the slowest duron is 600mhz. there are a few companies that make cheap mobos: abit, msi, shuttle and a few others. if i were you, i'd go with an abit. the question is, do you want DDR ram or SD ram? if you're looking at overclocking your best bet is 1 stick of DDR. go here to check out a list of cheap mobos. you'll probably find one that you fancy.

    I'm partial to Epox mobos, but they cost more. If you want to overclock with low cost, Abit gets my vote.
