    i was having a few problems, but i did the tips on this website to increase my performanne in games, and it greatly increased bf1942, now the game runs beautifully.

    I have the same problem...

    But I think I know what it is, and if I am wrong, something is REALLY f-ed up, lol.

    I think BF1942 doesnt like Cable connections, seriously...

    I had this problem where the game would stutter at quite an annoying rate, anyways, I just got back from my friends house, he has ADSL, and when I was there, I was playing BF1942, and it was running fine! None of that stuttering crap at all! It was beautiful, now that I'm back home, on Cable again, it stutters no matter what my ping is or my graphics quality.

    This game needs a patch now

    (BTW, while I was at his house, it didnt matter what our pings were on any server, it still ran fine)

    Well, I added ram (now at 512 on xp pro), and turned down the sound settings and it ran like a champ after that.
