    Multimedia files

Does anyone here know the multimedia extensions for players like Real, Windows Media, quicktime etc.?

I know MPEG is one of them, but what is an .avi file? I got one in an attachment, but it's not playing.

Realplayer extensions are .ram .rm WMP uses .wmp .wma, .mpeg .mpg .avi .divx etc are all universal extensions so to speak and can be read by pretty much any of the mainstream media players as long as the right codecs are installed. My guess is you need a codec to play your video file. Since you said it's an avi you probably need the Divx codec. Download it here. Just choose the free one on the left (it's all you need) and click the Download button.

    All right, it works!

Ok, now I have another question

I just deleted a movie from My Library in Real One player. However it still shows up under Play. Is there a way I can delete it from that?

Yeah, that works, but now that file that I played is in there.
