how do u execute *.exe file with command line parameters...

i installed a game called MAX PAYNE. i got the cheats for the game. on the cheats web page it said the following:

To get access to the game console, you need to start maxpayne.exe with the command line parameter "-developer".
Once you have the game running in developer mode, you get access to the game console with F12.

how do i do the above thing. i know where i installed the game. how do i put the parameters in .exe file. i mean in what format how????

Create a short cut and at the end of the target path paste -developer, like this-

thanx budy, that worked... i been trying to work dat out for weeks, i was half way thru the game and lost my saved game. now i'l use the cheats and start from the middle again...
