Albatron Ti4200 Turbo or Leadtek Ti4400

Should I get the Albatron Ti4200 Turbo or the Leadtek Ti4400? Both cards are just about the same price on newegg and I am just wondering which would be the best deal. I do not want to do extreme OCing on the card but I would like to up the speed a little bit. Which is the best deal.

Both are very good cards, but if you insist on choosing, the Albatron gets my vote. When you start to overclock, there is no going back

I dont see whats so special about the albatron. Its basically a ti4400 with a ti4200 core but slightly faster rated ram. 3.3ns instead of 3.6ns

Given the ti4600 at 300/650 is perfectly balanced and both these cards will reach 650MHz memory(which the leadtek has proven reliably) the spotlight falls on core overclocking which i think the leadtek will win. I'll eat my shoe if you cant get that ti4400 to 300/650.

But thats just me (by the look of things)

Hmm, just curious, which stepping is tht ? Looking at the point where ur core tops out , it tells me thts an A2 Stepping. My core topped out at 307. My MEM is still solid at 655. Going to keep on upping it till my graphics start breakin .

And i think the Albatron , is guranteed to go PAST ti4600 speeds Eazily. Lets See i would love to see tht Albatron against a Leadtek or MSI ti4400 (A3 Stepping) and see which OC's Higher

I have a Leadtek 4400 and love it to death. I am not as familiar with the Albatron, but I have no heat issues or instability issues at all and that thing is built like a gal dern tank! I would say, go cheap and reliable until the NV30 is released so as to save on headaches, which is what I did.

    Either way, good luck duder!

If you are not going to overclock that much why don't you take the 4400, it is at default already faster and you can overclock it more and the Leadtek has better 2d/3d quality.

But if the price difference is too big, and the Albatron come out cheaper then i would take the Albatron.
