    Magazines

I am curious to know if anyone hear knows of a good magazine I can subscribe to ( I know you are thinking Maxim, but I already get that) that would talk about the latest and greatest of computers. I don't have the time anymore to get online to pour through the forums and sharky, but it seems I have an plethora of time on the can, where magazines are allowed. If you guys could throw out some recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it.
Some day, that fateful finger from above will point down, and it will be pointing at me.

Personally I like reading Wired and Popular Mechanics. Wired is very well written and isn't limited to computers, it covers just about anything high tech and cool. Very cool layout too, very creative. Popular mechanics also covers anything technology oriented, intersting to read about all kinds of scientific breakthroughs, even if about half of them never translate into real products, or at least not any time soon.

How about Maxim, oh yeah you want a computer magazine. I always fancied Computer shopper and PC Magazine. I used to have Byte a long time ago but I dont know if they are still in business or was bought out.
