Mech ASSult on live

Ive been playing mech ASSult alot lately and well heres what I think.


Its a prett damn good game all in all and the single player missions are pretty sweet, and this is the first game Ive noticed that REALLY uses dolby digital.


But I have a couple of big complaints when it comes to live. (I'm a beta tester so thats how ive been playing live)

1. when you finish the game your kicked back out to the sign in screen, not back to the lobby so if you have fun in a game you have to hunt down the same people again. THIS IS REALLY ANNOYING, why couldnt they make it like whacked where when the game is done you go back to the lobby and your with the same people so you can change settings and teams/ whatnot and play again.

2. Lack of CTF or some base like game, I mean comeon no matter how many faces you put on deathmatch its still deathmatch.

3. Now this could be because its still beta but the load time for games to start are pretty long. All it says is waiting for other players but you get the feeling that everyone is looking at that screen.

I hear MechAssault is an expansion on the MechWarrior series on the PC. Its simpler to control and more arcade-like in terms of overall options i.e. you cannot customize your mech anywhere near as much as you can on the PC games.
