PAL 8942 vibrating against mobo and making noise...

how can I fix this? I've tightened the screws as tight as i think ican without hurting the CPU, but it makes a vibrating noise, that i know is there because when i press the thing inward, the noise goes away. Could it be that the motherboard screws aren't screwed into the spacers all the way? How can i solve this?? the sound is very annoying!!!!

loosen the screws that connect your fan to the HSF just a tad bit. I had the same problem with my alpha 8045 (basically the same HSF, but for AMD).
