Yeah, at that price it's too good to pass up. I think I'll pick one up myself.

The only downfall is that it's over $100 in mail in rebates. Which means two things. 1. You still would have to pay like $150+ on the day of purchase (instead of only $50). And 2. Last year during these day after Thanksgiving Sales I bought a product that had a $30 mail in rebate but I never ended up getting it!

I hope people realize that they're gonna have to pay $160 for that Hard drive instead of $50. If they are lucky they will get $110 in the mail in January or February. It's kinda a risky and you have to wonder if it's worth it.

Everyone assumes your actually gonna be able to get one too.. Good luck. The BestBuy around here probably has 2 of each. That place sucks IMO.

That being said, I gotta go to Walmart and hide myself a DVD player that's gonna be $40 off friday. I know every low life (including myself) is gonna be there Friday..
    ...WAIT FOR IT

No kidding, my Best Buy is the same way. Not only that, but when I call them to see if something is in stock, they usually tell me yes, then when I get there it's either the wrong item or it wasn't there to begin with.

Ahh the notorious Black Friday Ads.

Yeah its basically just a gimick to get people inside the store and in the spending mood. From a marketing stand point its the loss in profit on those items is a fair trade when compared against the potential profit of someone walking it out the door with a panasonic progressive scan DVD player with those $13 DVDs.

Or as Toastbim could prolly tell us, marking that Asylum Ti4200 at %146 prolly knocks it down one tier in BB in house service warranty scheme, giving sales person the extra leverage of saying that "not only can you end up owning this spectacular super powered card for only $89 after rebates, but its warrantied LIKE it cost you $200, so we are personally warranting your card for over twice its cost to you!!"

God working for that store made me feel like slim.

For those of you that are old enough to have kids that were in the toddler range in the last decade or so. You might remember the true Irony that Toys R' Us always had the cheapest price on diapers.

    Hmm i am listening...

Actually whatever you guys say i listen to it carefully, note it down and pass it on, seriously i do!

Its always good to have feedback..

there are so many issues that we can talk about for hours...
but i think you guys are sensible and seasoned enuf in this industry to see things from a diff prespective, which is good, infact great..

bottom line, some people like it some dont, but believe me all the hard drives and video cards would be gone in 10 mins..
