    Which laptop do you have???

Just trying to see what the majority of Sharky users run for their laptop. I run a Sony Vaio and love it!

it's a very restricted poll. could have added IBM and Compaq/HP to the list. After all they are big laptop manufactuers too. Even though I have a dell

IBM ThinkPad 600E & Dell Inspiron 4100. (I've also got a dead Sony Vaio 505G, but figured that didn't count.)

Sorry, if a moderator would like to add those 2 options than that would be fine. i just figured a lot more people would have used Dell. Ohh well, I guess I should have added IBM. So far I am 0/3 in polls at Sharky

well I've used a few Dells in my day and I would have to say I like these Compaq Evo's better, thin, light and powerfull. one little draw back is no serial port so you would have to cart around a port replicator if you need to configure routers and switches. other than that I think I would buy an Evo over a Dell if I was in the market for a laptop

the N160 has headphone, mic, 1394 (4-pin), parallel, s-video, video, 2 USB, modem, NIC all on the back. if they would have put the audio connectors on the side instead (speakers are in front) they could of squeezed a serial port in

I wish mine had a firewire port. My TV has 3 of them, but my PCs have none.
