Intel's prices have come down because everything gets bumped down when they release a new chip...with the 2.6, 2.8, and 3.06 coming out each time they lowered the older cpus one notch. The only place where AMD has had the price advantage was the low end, and that was only when they dropped the low xp's below 100 bucks.
