If I remember most people have not unlocked their 1600's. According to Soul Edge, however, he has. But, most of the OC's I have seen from the chip have been at the stock multi. If you are considering going with this chip, do not let that be too much of a turn off. This chip is great, even though it does not come with the unlocking option the T-Bred does.
I already ordered the chip =) if most people have not unlocked their 1600's then

You don't have to unlock the xp1600. My 11 year old son has his up to 1900mhz (stable) and its not unlocked. Good case cooling, good HS and fan and PSU are most important. Go for it.

You forgot to mention ram. running 180+ FSB requires soom good ram, especially if you intend to keep all the timings tight. The only reason I unlocked mine is because I'm running pc2100. They're excellent sticks that can do up to 185 at cas2 but I have to run alot of voltage through them to keep it stable so unlocking gave me the option to play around with various settings.
