    Unhappy Is possible to install win98 as my 2nd OS alongside XP... plz help

    currently i m running windows XP professional. i also wana install windows 98. whats the procedure. also another question. how do i reinstall windows XP.coz recentyly i installed XP pro and deleted the previous version of XP pro and than installed it again. but all the files in C:/ and documenst were there. how could dat b. dos XP just install the actual system files. how can i make my system dual boot system so that i can have a choice of eitha to boot 98 or XP. help plz thanx.

    Yes, you can fairly easily dual boot WinXP and Win98. And, if you didn't format between installs of WinXP that might explain why documents were still there. To set up dual boot do a search in WinXP Help on 'dual boot'. Then click on the full text search hits. Regards . . .

    if you wanna multi boot, you have to install the older OS first. therefore you need to install 98 BEFORE XP. install 98 on drive c: and XP on drive D:. xp and 98 will have to be on separate partitions.
