    Video out help

I have an abit ti4200 which has the video. It has two choices, s-video out and rca out. I use the rca becuase i don't have s-video. When I plug it in and get it going, the picture on the tv looks veeery fuzzy, and i couldn't even read it. Also, it won't play a movie on the tv. Anyone know what i can do?

Try lowering your screen resolution-the picture might be fuzzy if you're running your resolution too high (looks good on your computer monitor, but the TV cannot handle it). As for the lack of movie playback, maybe the DVD (I'm assuming you're playing a DVD disc) has Macrovision, which might prevent playback through your TV-out. That's just a guess, though. For more Macrovision info, check this out:

I've tried lowering my res to 800x600...
I was playing a divx movie actually.

I know my friend has done video out and it looked good. That was on s-video and on a big screen(not HDTV tho).

Is there another program I could try?

program for what? displaying tv-out? the best way is through the nvidia drivers.
make sure that your tv-out refresh rate is 60Hz and also, you might have to select the tv as your "default monitor". i havent found a solution to watch on both at the same time except to use my radeon.

if you're looking for the best player for divX movies, check out http://inmatrix.hoyty.com/mirror/zplay280.exe
(although nobody ever listens to my divX player recomendations )
