    Ion Painter

I have been playing a bit more UT2K3 than usual this week, and I can apon this gun (Ion Painter). Now my problem is; how do I use it? Primary makes a lazer beam that does nothing, and secondary zooms. I cannot figure out how to use the "awesome power" the weapon stats speaks of. Thanks for the pointers

As for the primary fire - You take aim at an area and don't adjust your aim (keeping it still or it will keep resetting the guidance), then the laser guidance will grown then finally fire, and the laser has to be pointing on the ground, not the walls or on a rock but on the ground. I haven't used the scope part of the gun so I don't know how that works.

Thanks G33K, all is well in the land of Ion Painters now

What type of game do you like most? I tend to play Double Domination most, with my favorite maps scortched earth and outrigger.

I am partial to the trandional DM, or TDM; but I really enjoy Bombing run. I bought this game, and it was just "ok" on my list, but as of late it's been more fun... I guess I learned how to aim

I found especially hard going from being a devout CS player and having the precise type of aiming down pat, then going to the twitch type aiming took some adjusting as well as the dodging. Oddly though my CS skills have gotten better with playing UT2k3. I recommend the Double Dom, it's tons of fun and there's an objective!

Exactly. Not a single one of my CS traits moved over. Until now I could not hit heads while running using the lighting gun... the aiming system is completely different. I will try Double Dom out

I used to be able to pop people's heads off alot easier before the patch, don't know if they made changes to the hit boxes or aiming physics.
