Removing programs from add/remove xp
Currently using XP home and I've got a program that wouldn't uninstall from my system (MOHAA) so I just had to delete the folder from the hard drive. Now, how can I get the program removed from the add/remove program list? Any help appreciated. Thanks.

You can remove it from the Add/Remove Programs list by editing your system's Registry. Click on Start, then Run, and type REGEDIT in the box. Then hunt down the following key and delete it:
Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
Microsoft
Windows
CurrentVersion
Uninstall
{0DEA94ED-915A-4834-A87E-388D012C8E02}
Just be sure you've got the right key by looking at its contents. Inside that key, you'll see a string called "DisplayName", and the value of that string should be "Medal of Honor Allied Assault".
Before trying this, you may want to try reinstalling MOHAA and then removing it. The program's uninstall routine will help remove other junk left behind like stray files, registry keys, and whatnot.

That did the trick. Thanks.
