Memory question..
Can you use 2 different memory speeds in the same mobo? Like I have 2 sticks of pc2100 atm and might be upgrading to a pc3200 compatable board and would buy 1 stick of 512mb pc3200.. can I use the 2x 2100 sticks and 1x 3200 stick at once?

Yes, but all your memory will be limited by the speed of your slowest RAM. You won't be able to run some at 2100 speeds and some at 3200 -- you'll have to run it all at 2100 (or at the fastest speed your 2100 can handle).

so which would be better? 896mb of ram running at pc2100 or 512mb running at pc3200?

Depends on what you want to do with the system. If you are running some huge memory hungry apps the more memory will be better. If you're just running normal stuff which runs well on 512MB the faster speed will be better.
