Boy that brings back memories. Used to have the HUGE Greyhawk maps on my wall with strategic locations pinned...

Very interesting...starts research on greyhawk.....rather refresh my memory for those unfamiliar..these books are recommendeded.
Saga of Old City, Artifact of Evil,City of Hawks by Gary Gygax
Night Arrant, Sea of Death, Come Endless Darkness, White Plume Mountain, Descent into the Depths of the Earth, Keep on the Borderlands, Queen of the Demonweb Pits, Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil, The Temple of Elemental Evil
and boogyman.. did you draw your own maps. on the squared paper?
I did lots of them.. to many of em.. for my ad&d sets...

Yeah, we drew TONS of maps. We had a bunch of large sheets of hex paper and we'd color hem in and 'laminate' them so we could draw on them with crayons and wipe it off later.
We really went overboard when the World of Greyhawk boxed set came out..

I like how there are books out now based on those old D&D modules in the Greyhawk setting.
Right now I'm reading: Tomb of Horrors by Keith Francis Storm. I'm having trouble finding the others in the series at the local bookstores, so I might have to buy them online but here are the others that are listed:
Against the Giants
White Plume Mountain
Descent into the Depths of the Earth
The Temple of Elemental Evil
Queen of the Demonweb Pits
Keep on the Borderlands
Anyway, I remember playing those exact modules in the early early 80's and now they are books
BTW thanks for the link. Sounds great!

I know, it's the only module I still have. Plus, when I saw that book at Bookstop, I just picked it up and headed to the register.
It's been pretty good so far, but I just got it. I'm waiting for them to get to the tomb and start springing all those traps and stuff

GS: The original Greyhawk: The Temple of Elemental Evil module was released quite a while ago and was based on the 1st Edition rules. Was it difficult to even find copies of the module?
TC: Yes, it was very difficult. I had the only copy at the office, and it was a mint-condition 1985 printing of T1-4 bound as one module. I had to make the difficult decision to cut it up and rebind it in a spiral binding to use as source material for our team. We eventually found more copies on eBay, and most of the team members now have a personal copy.
Lol I think I still have a copy of this module sitting in a box in my closet.
