Coming from a huge fan of the books(movies are okay)the Fellowship is alright. The combat is laughable plus there is zero incentive to fight. You don't get skill points or upgrades or anything....ever. The story is pretty cut and dry and the voices are resident evil quality but unlike RE they aren't funny. But it is based off the book and regardless it is cool to play through an adaption of the book.

What kind of game is it? Is there any other game that plays like it that you can compare it to, so I can get a better idea?

the last level on the two towers is by far one of the most intense levels i have played. this game has got to be one of the best adventure games of the year. by the way, the fellowship is the worst. if your in the mood to save middle-earth, i suggest getting the two towers. its damn good.

I'm trying to free your mind Neo, but I can only show you the door. You're the one that has to walk through it.
