    chipset issue

    I have the GA-8IHXP mb the chipset fan is failing can i just disable it without causing any heat issues whith the chipset??? Or should i get a replacment....

    I'd RMA that mobo, those north bridge fans can be a real b*tch to get off. You might get lucky if the fan can be removed via 4 screws, usually one in each corner. Regards . . .
