Maxtop cases??
Whats the deal with these cases? They are cheap and come with top and side fans, anyone experience with them?

Realistically, a case is a case, what you see is what you get. Quality's rarely a concern unless it comes with a psu.
The only thing to worry about is if it's sturdy. Most all cases will be sturdy so that's more of a moot point.
Just make sure the bays meet your needs and you like the looks of it. As for cooling, a jigsaw and a drill is all you need to cut a hole.

I have a Maxtop case, and I absolutely love it. The side and top fan are *extremely* nice, and I also bought the side w/ window ($15 from newegg, cheaper than some window kits ) which I adore. I think it is an excellent case and I reccomend it highly.

oh, one thing, the hard drive mounting bays are a biatch. there's room to mount two hard drives nicely, but if you have 4 like me, you're just going to have to stick them in cuz the screw holes don't fit.

I've used Maxtop cases for a few budget builds. For those, I used the $40 version with the fans and the PSU. How can you beat that deal? The cases themselves are average, though; nothing special-aside from the price. I will definitely continue to use them for budget rigs.

Thats pretty much my plan too. I'm throwing together another system of leftovers so I got a budget case.

I got the cheapest one at newegg ($41 shipped with 2 92mm fans included) and am happy with it so far. Not the most user friendly case to work with, but it works and is cheap and holds a ton of fans. Now I have to see how well the watercooling setup will work with it...
