Chieftec Fangrill project?
I thoght about cutting out my fangrills on my Chieftec. I still want to keep the little fan craddles for now, just because I don't like to use fanscrews.
I think I might want to use the regular fan grills, but there really isn't a place to screw them in. So, I would like to find an alternative. I was wondering if there was some kind of device that I could glue on to my case to hold on the grills (I don't want to glue the actual grills to my case) I want something that will let the grills snap into place or something similiar. If you need more info let me know. I still haven't had the chance to go to myhardware store yet, so if you can think of anything.
I absolutely can't screw anything into my case and still have the little purple cradle things attached.
I thought about just using a bolt with a flat head, glue it down then useing an interesting looking nut and lock washer to hold the grills on, if I can find one that thin with a flat head. If you have any input please let me know. I think I'll be going to the hardware store on Friday.
Thanks

Hmm, well you'll probably have to glue it on, or if you used a wingnut or something to hold it down like you said... I am thinking of creating my own custom front grille, maybe out of some raw metal sticks..
