best neo geo emulator?

yeah i got the lot and works fine on 98se.d loaded exactly thr same on my sytem and no good.i also saved the whole thing to disk of my mates comp but same thing really i just want confimation that somone is using it with xp

I just use MAME32 with a neogeo rom in there. I've never had any problems with compatibility or slowdown or anything on ANY game using that, neogeo roms or not (except for King of Fighters 2001, but that was when I was on my HP comp which had utterly horrible memory problems, so I can't fault it for that)

that reminds me, I need to see if there's a newer version of MAME32 out, the one I have is like a year old

Neorage is good, stopped working for me though , even if i try installing different versions and stuff, it just doesnt work, might not be WinXP compatable or something...

well, so far i havent tried it on xp yet...
at least you have a good alternative which is mame

I could never assign the buttons to work on anything in mame, i have no bad luck with snes emulators however =p

MAME will not run NeoRageX roms, and vice versa, the roms are named differently.

You can use NeorageX on XP. You just need a special version

i found the xp version.in spanish but awsome emulator all games i tried work perfect-d loading every neo geo game made later so ill let you know compatabilit success.thanks everone for the help.didnt realise how many of you guys were into the emu scene.i got over 2500 mame and most megadrive and snes roms.also 3000 specy games gota love the emus.if you have windows xp just serch on google for neogeox xp and youll find it-comes with bios to.that link devil man posted wont work for me-some crap about i got adverts disabled

Yeah, you need to disable your ad-banning progs to get to the downloads (there are no popups though, just banners). NeorageXP is the second link by the way, filename neoragexp.zip (there's two listed, the first one isn't the XP version).
