floppy's mounted like half an inch back, floppy panel was dremeled... then i thought about how to stealth the floppy and just decided to add one of my extra case screws to the aluminum floppy panel and use it as a cover.

Hmmm nice alternative to mouting the floppy bakwards or sidewards like TAGTZ (sorry if i spelt it wrong) has. But dosent the floppy protrude pretty far back because of this?

the floppy is only half an inch back from where it was last time, it's pretty safe

I did the same today too; I just don't have a place to host. I like the look of it, definately worth the little amount of time it takes. only instead of a screw I used a little piece of tape sticking out of the bottom.

ok made a page, I was bored
    its angelfire though

Thats a pretty good idea moving it back a little. Its not like you usee the floppy that much anyway.

Hopeless yours looks different with the tape. In the one PIC is the Front Panel attached to a floppy??

yeah i believe in his design the floppy is stuck to the floppy panel, and you're right, floppy isn't used much anyway, so i just put a knob on it

exactly, that's why didn't want to spend too much money or get too kooky with the floppy drive.. it's just something that your parents would likely use the most
