    my system

    Edit:
Please check my post on page 2 posted at 01-29-2003 07:41 PM (my time, at least :-P)

    hey all
finally got my lights and stuff a few days ago... here are a couple of pics. they don't do it any justice though, as this is a crappy camera. the water really looks like a real bright cartoon-acid green i just used a highlighter to color it... it glows under the lights real well.

[edit] yeah, that's right... jammed 2 radiators in there... hehe [/edit]

i've got 3 lights in there... a UV and blue in the bottom, and a blue in the top.
also, i got a double order, that's why i have 3 lights (one was blown). heh. figured why not waste the free stuff though

also, on a side note... does that 12" woofer look a bit too close to my flatscreen monitor? i've had trouble with this monitor ever since i got it... it turns pink often. i don't think the speaker is close enough, but i just thought i'd ask. the center of it is about 15" from the back of the monitor.

the CPU surface is usually ~92ºF (33ºC) with my TbredA @ 1.8Vcore. ambient is probably 65-58ºF (20ºC), but i don't know for sure because i don't have a thermometer in here....
seems a bit warm to me... but i havn't been able to do anything about it.

and yes, i like the fan bus. 4 pin power in, 4x3pin power out. up to 8 watts per channel.. adjustable from 7-12v output. i've only had it for a couple of days, but i havn't had any problems with it yet.

Great thx. I was choosing between this and the new vantec one, but this will do the trick, cheaper too!
