Toshiba warranty issues

Hi gang.

Basically I'm looking for anyone who has received warranty support from Toshiba on the issue of 'screen bruising' - where the keyboard/mouse pointer indents the LCD without rough handling. I'm not getting much help from Toshiba, despite them tentatively agreeing that it's a design flaw. Maybe I'm just wizzing into the wind, but I'd rather not have to fork out the big bucks myself.

I dont know but I'm about to find out for a different reason, my cd-rw/dvd drive is grinding like mad and wont burn cds. I hope I can just send it or whatnot and get a new one without any hassles.
