cat 3.1 +unreal2= nice performance increase

at least for me.before if i went up from 1024x768 to 1280x1024 it slowed down a lot in open areas.now 1280x1024 gives me about the same as i was getting in 1024x768-still get low fps in certain places but no lower than they were in 1024x.using 4xaa and 8 anio btw.anyone else noticed a poerformance jump?before every 1 jumps in with the cpu limited argument i find that with the aa and anio on that becomes irelivent and i done quite a bit of testing on this game.also i use v sync withch obviously brings my frames down a fair bit

Unreal 2 is a very great game in terms of graphics, and gameplay.. I found it similar to Halo. There are a few things I dislike about the game. The fact thats its mission based, makes you go back to your ship for breifing each time, and then go to the mission. Id preffer if it was more like unreal 1, where you would venture off in open areas, leading to places you dont know about.

Its good and all, worth playing, etc. Problem is that it is like 10 hours of gameplay (more like 5 for experienced gamers,) and so it is very expensive for what you get.
Hang on tightly ... let go lightly.
