Can't get A7N8X to POST at all

I have the Deluxe version of this board. Everything worked just fine until I decided to try the "Agressive" setting in the BIOS. Now I get no POST at ALL. Not even a Video BIOS shows up...just a blank screen. I tried another CPU. I tried Clearing the CMOS. I tried another Video Card. Nothing works. Everything worked absolutely FINE...until I set it to "Agressive". I know my processor is good because I put it in my second computer. PLEASE HELP.

I have that Mobo and sometimes you have to Actually pop out the battery for a couple of minutes, upon bootup hold the insert key before you power it on just to be safe, then hit the delete key, just because you set it to agrresive it wont fry anything so dont worry nothing should be damaged. I clear my Cmos or run into problems like that daily when OCing.

Well here's the fix. The A7N8X definitely has some BIOS issues. I took the advice of someone that wrote in another thread and said to swap in some different memory. Well it WORKED. I put in my buddies stick of RAM and it booted right up. I then powered down...put my memory back in and it worked like a champ. The issue then was that my multiplier was stuck at 6.5 while "Auto" was selected. Updating the bios to 1002 fixed that little problem as well. Hopefully ASUS releases some good BIOS updates because it sure is flaky right now.

lol, I was gonna suggest switching out the ram and I'm guessing that other thread you're referring to was probably replied to by me or something. Well, glad that it works for you.

It definitely was from you dude! Thanks so much for the help! I was getting pretty pissed today and I just knew in my gut that none of the components themselves were bad. I've been building systems for years and I was pretty stumped. Thanks again for the tip.
