downloading WinXP updates to files.
I got a separate PC that has no Internet connection, and no Network connection. but have a CD-Rom.
How would I go about downloading the windows update files and burn it to CD-Rom for the other machine with no connection.
I don't know what the other pc Needs, and do'nt mind downloading all the current update files since I got broadband.
can anyone help?

if you are running an already updated computer to try and get those updates its not going to happen. you have to have a computer totally non-updated to see all the updates, and i dont think you can download them to files, although im not 100% sure.

There is no spoon.
Every update you see on Windows Update has a Q number and is available for download on MS's website. Write down the numbers and look around.

Super Bunny Mod
go to the Windows Update page, select Personalize Windows Update in the left pane and check "Display the link to the Windows Update Catalog under See Also" and click Save settings on the top right. back on the left pane there should now be a link called Windows Update Catalog, select it. Now you can go find any update, add it to your basket then download to your computer
If your sig is longer than your post then type more.
