Likely, it was a cluster server...
This is where you've got two systems that use the Same HD's, etc.....the idea being that if one fails, the other almost immediately takes over for it....
Redundancy, you see this where failure is not an option (think there were running cluster server at Mission Control in Apollo 13).....

If it were a cluster server, then all the people calling the originator of this post have crow to eat....
Marbles got bigger when I heated them. Just not 2 inches in diameter.

Why would you have it on a table? Dust isn't good for parts.

All right folks. I think we've about beat this into the ground.
Geek Boy, I don't want to say you're lying. Chances are you've been misled or have misinterpreted something somewhere along the line. Anyhow, don't take too much offense to what anyone here says. This kind of thing doesn't happen often.

In Geekboy's defense, I don't use computer cases anymore. I find them constraining and limiting. And the computer really doesn't give a damn whether it has dust on it or not. Maybe it would care if I kept my computer next to a piece of sheetmetal which I happen to be sanding with a high powered sanding tool thingy, but other than that, I just dust the components every month or so with canned ozone.

The 486 topped out at 100Mhz and that was an AMD chip. The 386 topped at 25Mhz I think. Secondly there is no such thing as what you describe. So therefore you are full of ****.
