    2100b + 8k5a2 higher multiplier success!!

As some of you know, I have been searching for a way to stretch my overclocking with my 2100 b (0303) while keeping my fsb at 166 to keep my agp/pci in spec. Using the chart found HERE at ocinside, I cut my 2nd L3 bridge. (I also removed the painted bridge for the last L3 bridge that I had previously made to access the lower multipliers). When I cranked 'er up, I had successfully obtained a 14x multiplier!

Right now I have the vcore at 1.75v, and I am running prime95 to check stability. If everything checks out, I may try reducing it a bit.

    2320 mhz @ 166 fsb
    Idle temp - 34c
    Load temp - 39c

So far, I'm pretty darn happy with the results. I may experiment and push the fsb up a bit from here too.

I've asked this question before, but never heard back... how far is everyone willing to push their agp/pci out of spec? What is considered safe limits?

I'll post back with further results.

Sweet man. You shouldn't have to worry about pushing the PCI too far out of spec till over 200. Most people here that are using that chip and KT333 chipset are doing 200 with no PCI or AGP problems. I had mine in the mid 180's with no problems. I think you should be good to go, especially since you have higher mults!!! Again, nice job and let her rip.

I used a small, single edge razor blade to cut the bridge. I got out my magnifying glass I did my best to get the blade in the right position right between the two dots. Then I put the magnifying glass down and gently pushed/sliced. I did that twice and it worked great. Plus, it won't be any big deal if I ever want to reconnect the bridge for some reason later on.

Also, ran prime95 and 3dmark2001 simultaneously all of last night with no errors...I'm gonna try bumping up the fsb bit by bit now to find my max. I'm willing to at least try 1.9 vcore, but I don't think I am comfortable running it with that much juice lont term.

    Thanks for the help guys!
