    IE6 stuck on italics?!

I'm using WinxP and Internet Explorer 6.

for some reason the other day the font's on IE changed to default of Italics for no reason.

sites that use to have regular fonts are now in italics.

anyone got any idea what might have happened and how to fix it?

goto tools-internet options, then under the general tab, click on the fonts button. See what that has, i believe default is times new roman - courier new - latin based. Hope this helps.

    Jesus Fking Crhist!

btw: I run WinXP (didn't put in SP1, yet but did all the critical and security updates since last week)

3 days laters, I get that same problem again.

I checked the "font" for Interenet setting and it's what it's suppose to be.

I deleted all my temp folder and temp interenet data and cookies
and it still seems to be stuck in italics.

it's not just IE I notice it in Winamp Play list too... (I think it might be a system wise thing but I only notice it mainly in IE)

at least it's not as bad as my other machine (same spec & OS) where when IE pops open a window it will just get stuck there and not load the page up...
    anyone any help

ok after doing a search, I solved my problem by overwriting my arial.tff from windows/fonts/ dir.
