My choice was to hang myself. It sounded like loads of fun
But I might get both cards since I have a net30 to play and return. Only thing is my vendor doesnt like returning open box on retail products. I will only try the Ultra if I can get an OEM version

I'm thinking that the 9600 pro will be damn good for the money. Supposed to cost under $200 at launch, and it will be as fast as a 9700. Very good price/performance. If money were no object, 9800 pro would be the obvious choice.

Too bad there's not a choice to somehow sharpen the edge of a video card and go postal in a busy shopping mall.
"There is something to be learned from a rainstorm. When meeting with a sudden shower, you try not to get wet and run quickly along the road. But doing such things as passing under the eaves of houses, you still get wet. When you are resolved from the beginning, you will not be perplexed, though you still get the same soaking. This understanding extends to everything."

8 Wheels Move The Soul
Well, since I don't give a fling about these pointless wang measuring contests, obviously the last option.
But in reality, I wouldn't pick any of them. There's no concrete evidence as to which is better (since they aren't REALLY on shelves yet, and driver revisions haven't even started yet). ATi could possibly stay the best, nVidia could pull themselves out of the rut.

Great White Shark
Well, since the nVidia sticker on my case would be too hard for me to rip off, I'd have to go with the GeForce FX 5800 Ultra.

I chose the last option. I am tired of seeing every other post in Video Cards related to this.
