If you want it you are gonna have to pay for it, big time. The only ones that I have seen for sale are ECC and registered.

Don't you need a mobo/chipset that can take advantage of the DDR?

Yep, there currently aren't any motherboards that us end users can buy, Phatman is waiting for them to come out right now.
