    Memory for 800mhz fsb P4's

I'm planning on getting one of the new P4's with 800mhz fsb. Is the DDR400 ram what they are going to use? If so which brand do you recommend?

edit: Not real up on my memory so is DDR400 the same as PC3700?

    DDR400 is PC3200.

Have heard good things about Kingston Hyper-X, will be trying some PC3000 this weekend.

That's about the cheapest ram which will reliably do 200FSB. I've got the same stuff at 202 myself and took it up to 217 with a different cpu before my HDD got funny on me

Is pc3200 what the P4's are going to be using to get the full bandwidth and run on the 800mhz fsb? Or would something like pc3500 or 3700 be better?

At stock speeds on the new chipsets, the ram will run at 400mhz DDR. This equates to PC3200. However, if you wanna overclock, I would recommend getting at least PC3500 ram.

I always recommend the fastest ram you can buy anyway, it's more future proof and OCs better
