Two video inputs with selection by a front mounted switch

Has anyone else seen something like that before? That could be quite helpful if you have two computers...a KVM would be better, but this is built into the monitor..

A KVM is indeed better, you still can't switch the keyboard and mouse inputs with that monitor

it's good, works like the V part of a KVM.

A buddy has a monitor with that feature, and he just has 2 keyboards, and 2 mice. Since he rarely needs to interact with the second computer (server) it's not that big of a deal.

No you can't...but monitors take up a bit more space than a keyboard & mouse combined.

My 420GS has a front input and button to switch between front/rear.
Comes in quite handy cause I use my old 900 MHz Athlon for videocapture and the switch i use creates a ghost image, so now i use the monitor's inputs for both PCs and the switch box for keyboard/mouse.

I have all my computers connected to a 4-port KVM switch. It works great

The ghosting you are getting from your KVM is from setting the resolution/refresh rate higher then what the switch box supports.
