can't get Intel (R) 8245 Nic to work in WinXP

I just got a Dell 600SC server. (no OS included)

and I installed WinXP on it.

but the drivers that come with the it only has up to Win2k support for the ONboard Nic (Intel(R)8245OEM). there's a missing file on the driver distro for win2k so it won't work on XP

I went on the intel website and can't find anything on the NIC and on the dell the only thing driver for it is the Win2k one..

now I can't get the NIC to work.

anyone know of a way to fix this?

If I don't have a driver for a piece of hardware handy I normally tell it to search for a driver through windows update. That nearly always finds me one that works. Otherwise it's off to driverguide.com

I'm not sure if it is what you are seeking, but Intel has drivers for the 8245 chipset on their website here.
