Overclocking a GeForce2 mx400 32mb
I really want to try overclocking my GeForce2 mx400 32mb. I've read that overclocking the Memory will show slight signs of improvement. Currently my card is running at 175mhz/166mhz.
What mhz for engine and ram should i overclock to? I've edited my registry to allow some overclocking, but i have no idea what to overclock to. This will be my first OC and I really dont want to fry my card.

a lot of cards hit about 210 on the memory and 200 on the core. some of it will depend on your memory...my card has 5ns memory, most have 5.5 and 6. i hat my card at 200/210, but was getting artifacts so i slowed it down a tad. i'd start at about 190/200 and test out some games. worst case scenario, they lock up, you reboot and the speeds get reset. more than likely if there's a problem it will be in the visual quality of the game.

blare is god, you won't fry your video card as long as you have sufficent cooling. Slap on a fan if none on the core and some heatsinks on the memory chips.
