    FarStone's Game Drive rocks!

I picked this program up at Media Play a few weeks ago. It copies all of your game's data files to your hard drive giving you a virtual drive, which can hit read speeds of like 200X! After you copy the game to your hdd, you don't need the CD to play, so you don't have your kids scratching your brand new C&C Generals or your BF1942... AWESOME! It even copies multi-cd games, and you can set up more than one virtual drive to have two or three cd's loaded at the same time! No more switching disks in like Riven...

I picked it up for $20, and I don't have a game it wouldn't work with yet..

I'm not familiar with this.. You mean like it comes with CD-RW's in bundled software, or you download it somewhere?

Yeah, I bought it to, figured it would load something off CD or whatnot but you have to load the whole game. Again, if its already installed. Ug. Havn't used it yet, easier to just get a crack off the web. I don't understand the diff between using this virtual drive or a cracked EXE. Seems to me running the game off the HD only would be fairly fast also.

Many game servers have security measures that seek and destroy cracks. GameDrive is completely legal (so long as you don't copy like your neighbor's games to your drive, too ) and you can play in online forums and over your network.

Thanks man! The GameDrive license only allows you to install on one comp at a time, and it "feels" out across your network for addidtional istallations and disables one of them.
